Mariner... is that the Ford Escape looking one. If that's what it is then you picked a cool little car for your wife. I rented the Escape 4x4with a 3.0 and I gotta admit that car is a lot of fun to drive and is very comfortable. Nice choice with the GTO as well. Good luck restoring it.
