GT's gone
I enjoyed the Premium GT Convertible for the last year but I bought a 1971 GTO Convertible, 455, 4 spd. It's under restoration & in a million pieces right now, but I don't need two convertibles.
We went to the Ford Dealer today and friday I'm tradingthe GTfor a Mercury Mariner for the wife to drive.... The Mariner is a nice little SUV with a 200 hp 3.0 Ltr motor, leather and all the bells and whistles...
Guess I'll be joining the Mariner Forums...
I appreciate the time & effort folks put into this forum to make it the bestforum for a Mustang owner on the internet... thanx... pork

Good luck with the Poncho, looks like you're a GTO man with now two Goats. Hard to say no to an irreplaceable classic, although two Goats and no Ponies makes playtime seem the same(lol).

What color stripes on my Mariner????
Best of luck with your new Goat.......
We'll miss you. But just for the hell of it, I sold a '64 Skylark to my neighbor a few years ago. It has a 455, that he had some work done to, headers, posi rear, with I think 3.89 ring & pinion and Automatic trans. His car is FAST..................I beat him from a dig, or a roll don't matter. But anyway enjoy your classic GTO.
