who makes the best line lock kit for our car?

 

I have the Hurst kit, but not installed yet.

 

where did you get it from, and what made you decide on their kit? I know to stay away from the granatelli kit because it has "Granatelli" written on it somewhere. But I know hurst and slp make a kit for our model car and I don't know which is better... or what other kits are out there.

its a two solinoid kit so it goes after the ABS..... a pic of one side...

 

I did the same thing. works great.

 

I went with the granatelli dual solenoid kit because I didn't want to rely on a single solenoid. The fit and finish is great. Installation was easy, and it stands up to John Force style burnouts on my drag slicks. Highly recommended. The only thing I will recommend is that you buy a switch from autozone. The switch that comes with the kit is garbage.

I'm actually getting ready to order these in the next week or so.

 

I didn't do the work.... but I watched as it was done... seemed fairly easy to do... and straight forward... about 1.5 hrs-2 hrs
