Some one sugested that i do a throttle body bypass mod. I was wondering if it is a good mod for $10.00 and dose it even work.

hahaha SCAM!!! You can do it for free with the parts that are already on the engine. Do a search for it in the 4/0 forum, there is a nice write-up somewhere. lol this is funny. And ifI remember right, it's only goodon the 4.0 engine and only on the 2005 model...I think ford stoppedrunning the coolant through the TB in 06...

 

Just remove the long hose and use the short hose to reconnect it back together. I went and bought some clamps from autozone because i prefer the metal brackets to the crappy ones that were on there.

 

so its only for the v6?

 

Haha..6-8 hp and .3 1/4 mile decrease...?

 

It's only for the 2005 V6 - everything since then doesn't have the throttle body heater.

 

Just don't do it!
