I am in a similar dilema.
Igot a quote from a dealer about an 07GT for 25k OTD. Seems like a good deal I think but they lowballed me on the tradein. Now, if I could get the tradein up to at least palatable, then I may be in a new pair of 4.6ltr shoes soon myself(so to speak).

It was too good to be true. The cars show up in the compuer, but most of them have been sent off to shelby or other specialty shops for conversion.
there aren't anymore stock GT's on the lots anymore.

In april 06, I got my basically fully loaded v6, 23655 on the sticker (no auto, shaker 1000) for 17 with 0% financing. I was very happy lol. Best deal, that was like 30% off the sticker price. There are good deals out there, and when there are, you have to jump on them. For a teenager, what better car than a mustang can you get for 17k?
