I 55 was backed up all the way down here
took the back roads ,watched a guy in a jeep do some unwanted offroading,
seen a car in the ditch , about 1 per mile on I 55
even seen a truck towing a camero in the ditch @ I55 & us 52

people every year forget how to drive in this weather

and I think Im going to "untune" my car for winter, so it wont shift and brake the tires loose when its slick out.


but I was doing fine in my rwd car with traclock and bald tires but got to get some snow tires soon

 

yea, it's crazy that even though we go through it every single year, people always seem to manage to forget how to drive on snow. and people with suv's always seem to think they are invinsible out there.

 

ye,rwd sucks in snow...Ill get some snow tires too..dont want to kill myselt in my love.
and look for some speedshop can decrease the HP of the car...from 300 down to 150..haha...J/K...

I haven't had any experience in the stang, but I got a little unwanted excitement when I entered my parking lot at work which had about half an inch on the ground. Forgot what kind of car I was in, I was going probably 15 when I hit the brakes and just started sliding towards a curb. Luckily, i avoided the curb, but I definately need to take this back to the lot to practice next snow.

One thing I didn't avoid was salt...

 

I was saying put a beanie baby under the pedal then you could only push it down so far so fast, its something my uncle yoused to say when we 1st started driving in the winter
BTW with snow tires you wont have to put any extra weight in your trunk
