Has anyone purchased the bullitt mufflers?if sohow does it sound? (it is supposed to be a muffler desinged by ford to match the sound of the 1968 gt390 featured in the movie "bullitt")i thought ford will still kept this design of muffler a Secret until there actually released? I think a few members might if it were cheaper. I mean 500 bucks for new mufflers with a different sound?

Doesn't really seem worth it to me.

They are only 500? Oh ****! That's cheap! And I thought 250 bux for a half a pound piece of plastic (hood scoop) was a great deal! I love Stangs, but I don't know why most Stang parts have to be so overpriced... PSSST! Don't miss the 90 dollar shift **** LOL

The Bullitt also is supposed to have a special H-Pipe that alters the sound as well.

Too pricey??? I see a lot of superchargers, aftermarket hoods, and expensive tires on here. How can those mufflers be too pricey? This forum is full of rich people. I'm sure someone can afford to buy them to test them out. If they don't work, sell the pair for $100 cheaper. So you lose $100.....BIG DEAL! Just eat at home a couple more times this month.

That's true, but evidently you can waste money and remain rich.
