Default Panasonic Double Din screen

Has anyone put this http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-CQ-V..._bxgy_e_text_b in their Mustang yet? I'm just looking for a way to hook my Ipod up, and I definately don't want a single deck with an ugly pocket under it when I take the skipper 500 deck out. I'd rather have a screen for a "cooler look." So I'd have to get the Ipod cable thingy they offer with it. I don't need to play CDs as long as I have the Ipod, but can this play the radio as well?

Thanks for any help

I've always heard of problems with Panasonic headunits, I'll stick with Eclipses!

Please elaborate...I'm looking for a decent price on a reliable unit. If anyone has suggestions, please post.

This is well worth the extra 150 bucks the ipod control is very good on this one. If you play tons of iPod Video though, the Kenwood DNX7100 is better for that.

I think (HOPE) he was just kidding. Panasonic makes about the best headunits out there with specs that are off the chart! I have a Panasonic double DIN DVD unit also, VERY nice - LOVE IT! I got the AVH-P6800DVD. It is much like the Avic but doesn't include the navigation (although that can be added in an external module). I got the iPod adapter and wired that into my center console. I think you should look close at the 1 you are considering though, I think that is just a monitor and DVD player. I don't think it does AM/FM and CD but I'm not sure. -Joe
