Default Headers

I currently haveStingers on my car and I am looking for longtubes and X pipe. I wanted to know what you guys think I should go with to keep a similar note to what I have now? I dont want it to get raspy and I want to keep the deepness to it.

Well the X will be raspy so you may want to consider an H if you want deep

I have long tubes, catted x-pipe and stock mufflers and its sounds great. I tried a couple of different sets of mufflers and couldn't get the sound the way I wanted without drone so I figured what the heck, let me try the stockers. It sounds perfect for me. The only combo I didn't try that I may recommend as a starting point is Corsa. Good luck!

if you want the x go with kooks headers and catted or off road x pipe...i believe they aslo have an H pipe im not sure. I was going to get American Racing Headers with an off road H pipe they both sound incredible...ultimately I went with a mac prochamber mid pipe and no headers. I'm satisfied for now ONLY because i need to pass inspections here and will need to swap the stock h pipe in and out. There is no way I'd put those headers on and then take them back off

If you want deep sound go with an H-Pipe, if you need to pass an emission test then catted H-pipe. The best setup with a catted H-pipe is Amercian Racing Headers IMO.

I have the borla stingers and the ford racing x pipe (still have cats) i get some raspiness but i can live with it,,,,,its not too extreme. the "H" would eliminate the raspiness but u gain a few ponies from the "X" nothing crazy though its something like 2-5hp. keeping your cat’s and an “H” would help you keep your current tone as close as possible removing your cats is like waking up Godzilla especially with full length headers
