Default new here/NEED HELP-sequential/chase

hi, new here and in a hurry, dont know what to do, trying to get this for xmas. was wanting to get a sequential taillight turn signal kit(for an 05)until i saw Meter4it sequential/chase kit, looks really good BUT some of the other brands(sequential) are so eazy looking, i think they are called "plug in units" or "plug and play" and this Meter4it has some big black box that has to be mounted somewhere in the trunk instead of the others thats all in the harness. i have been looking at the Webelectronic Products, CDC, and do yall know who makes the onefor Shelby Performance Parts? how do these stack-up? and who else is there? Does anyone make a "chase" that is a "plug and play"likethese sequential's that everythings in the harness, without the big black box? Thanks

meter4it's kit is the only chase kit. Don't fear the wiring, it is simple enough, soldering is actually very easy, take your time and you will be fine

+1. The chase mode alone is worth having to wire it. And it's cool how you can switch between the modes whenever you want.

As for soldering, it isn't even necessary. Might be a good idea if you're handy with it, but the clips and connectors that the kit comes with seem pretty solid, I didn't solder it at all and everything has been fine so far.

The instructions are very well done, if you take your time and go really slowly with the install it might take like 2 hours, no big deal. It's a nice weekend project.

Also: As for the black box, it's not really that big and gets mounted behind the trunk liner with a few strips of velcro tape (included), so I wouldn't even consider that as a factor to keep you away from the meter4it kit. Chase mode is the king!

I have the meter4it kit too and it really is easy to install. I was worried at first about doing the wiring, but it can all be put back to stock if need be. I dont know who would want to put it back to stock though cuz chase is just so cool. I have had many compliments on it. Just do the chase. Think of it this way, i have seen serveral sequentials where i live, but never seen another car with the chase feature.

The meter4it kit is an easy install. I was worried about all the wiring too, it's not bad. When you're done, it looks factory inside. You will also then have the option of running the chase, sequential, or factory lights.

On the seq. all three lights come on one after the other until all three are on before it starts the sequence again. The chase don't wait.
