RE: procharger build
Check out the latest issue of muscle mustangs and fast fords, they have a procharger build with the F1A running in the 10's and claim it has a stock bottom end...I think they are running 20 lbs, but I could be wrong though...I could be remembering incorrectly, but I think thats what it said...I think the fastest car in the test was actually the saleen supercharger, but they had a lot of engine work done to the car though, stroker, forged internals, headwork, etc...i'll recheck the article and post back if I mistated anything...

Yeah it's really funny how everytime someone wants opinions regarding the Saleen S/C's on this site everyone says that they suck. Then you have a shootout in MM&FF and the series VI running 14lbs of boost blows all the turbo setups running 15-20lbs. Pretty funny. Jim D'Amore knows how to tune that Saleen VI!

RE: procharger build
I think saleen s/c's are great.... the only bad thing that i here from local guys is that after it's ran for awhile the power drops off more than others.... because the intercooler or heat exchanger what ever you call it ... is in the center of the block and it collects alot of heat in that location

RE: procharger build
The bad thing about comparing things in that magazine were that most of the people were running stroker motors...which will somewhat skew comparisons between power adders since not all of the configurations were identical...however I believe the saleen was only running 15 psi and they ran the strongest with their engine configuration which included cam upgrades, port & polished heads, and the stroker kit...so I guess who is to say that a turbo on the same configuration wouldn't make more power? Its all in how the car is setup I think...which is to say that probably all of the power adders have their pluses and minuses...and maybe none of them really rule supreme in the end...
