Default Idle RPM

My idle RPM seems too low. When I rev it a bit, after it comes back down, it sounds almost like it goes too low and almost shuts off. I have brenspeed's tunes with the SCT xcal2, is there a way to raise the idle RPM with it? Or would that not help (i.e. i have a different problem)?

The needle is below the 750 line but above the 500 line. It sounds fine if I leave it alone but if I rev it to like 1500-2000 RPMs and let it drop it drops way low (like it's gonna die) and then goes back up to idle.

I idle around what seems like 550-575RPM and when I rev and do my up down, I'll drop to ~400, but she's fine.

That's from a brand new Mustang, to boot (V6 model, so GTs might be different.)

You can increase the idle with the SCT2 in the optional parameters menu. Here's the B-speed turorial for accessing the menus (if the link doesn't work it's in the tech section of their site):

That's not just your idle speed being a problem, it's the electronic dashpot settings. Definately a tune issue.

Thanks marcuskeeler and gidyup. I'll try bumping the RPMs up a bit, and if it does the same thing, marcus is probably right.
