I am experimenting on 5 inch tips now............

I have gotten mixed reviews on them. They tuck in nicely and do not hang.

they will probably stay on until I can get a set of corsas.

here is a pic. not the best but you'll get the idea.

Way out of proportion[:'(][:'(][:'(]

i dont care who you are thats funny sh** right there. i have 3.5" tips now and they look small. you would definitly need a double wall tip to keep the exterior of the tip cool enough to avoid melting the paint and/or bumper. a double wall tip would acually look smaller since the opening is only 4". maybe a 4.5" would be just right.

merlinsrealm +1 on have the nuts to dare to be different. what mufflers are you using with the 5" tips, axle backs or mids. and did you notice a significant increase in the noise level going to the 5" tip.

The mufflers are Proflows from RPMoutlet and came with the 5 inch tips. I aquired them to test out the mufflers and to see what the tips would look like. No one had tried to use 5inch tips so it was interesting to see how they would look. Doesnt sound bad but has drone. I do notbelieve there is a significant increase in noise level because of the tips.

As far as what I plan on using for my permenant setup I am looking for a set of Corsas with the 4 inch tips......

+1 for being different. and -3 for it being tacky.

so that comes to -2.

different doesn't necessarily mean good.

Better hurry up and get those 5 inchers off before you damage your paint and bumper.
