Default Anybody using this part?

I was thinking of putting on the x pipe from Ford Racing, part#M-5251-R, this way there should be no fitment problems and I can use my cats. My friend has the same JBA axle backs as I do and he did the Bassani O/R x pipe and its loud as hell. Plus in California it wont take but a few seconds behind the car to realize that the raw smell means no CATS. If you are using it, do you feel any gains and what did you pay? I would like to put it on before the supercharger install so the car gets dyno tuned with them on the car. Thanks.

it won't make the car any louder if that's what you're looking for since you'd be keeping the same factory cats.

i wouldn't expect any HP gains worth mentioning either.

I can't imagine a substantial gain if the cats are staying on the car, but it should change the exhaust note going to an x-pipe...

I thought the same but the shop says that the x creats a better outlet flow good for up to ten hp of course thats #s in relation to using the ssupercharger. Maybe NA it sdoesnt make a difference or much but with the S/C it will help.

I have that Set-up Joe, the X-Pipe feels like itflows better. The exhaust sounds a little different too. You might hear it a little on this vid....http://s166.photobucket.com/albums/u88/Bluestar2178/?action=view¤t=100_0381.flv

The HP gain isn't going to be worth the cost and either is the sound. IMO.

Most guys hate the x-pipe sound after they put it on. It has a real trumpeting, gurgling sound. I hated mine and putan h-pipe back on. didn't really notice any gains or losses with either.

if your looking for HP gains, go with the off road x. but if its too loud for you, then stick with the factory h setup.
