What is this??
I found a 2005 mustang at the dealership called the "stang" edition. It has a stang tag on the side, the interior is specal carbon fiber metalic color, and theseats say stang on it. He claimed it came like that fron the factory, and it was a limited edtion.I cant find anything about this car anywhere on theentire internet! Also when we test drove it it sounded differnet than a normal 05 stang.
what is this??are there any internal changes with this edition besides cosmetic?

if you didnt find anything on it over the internet, chances are theres no such thing. Never heard of it myself. That carbon fiber is prolly from a roush and they are just lying to you to try and get more money out of it. Never trust a dealership.
I remember last year my stealership had a "fang" edition. Pretty much a worthless markup. This one had a shaker and some decals. For an extra $4,995.... Im sure its something like that. Either the dealership did it or they sent it off to some unkown company to make it "cooler"...
You do have to realize that if you're a member of this forum and you mod your car, it doesn't matter WHAT version you picked up from the dealership.
It's YOUR edition. That's something people don't realize.
Granted, most of us SHOULD be buying base models of the engine we want (V6 or V8) and doing our own things later. This includes cosmetics and engine internals/bolt ons. That's how we avoid markup and make these cars TRULY our own.

No such thing. Ask the dealership whats different about it exhaust, shakerhood, engine upgrades. Also what is the price difference on it? But most of the time its not worth it to buy "special editions" from the dealership.
I wouldn't trust it....sounds like someone personalized their car and traded it in. The dealer must have stole the namefrom the owner to turn it into somethingcatchy to get it off the lot.
I'm guessing its a GT?

i wouldnt believe all teh things he says. Just probably making up a lie about knowing the previous owner and saying hes old to help you think it wasnt driven hard. but its your decision. goodluck
