Forgive my stupidity, but what's the background story on this build? It was all done on site for spectators?

 

Yea, looks like one of those prearranged, practiced, builds. All the stuff is prepared, painted and most likely been on and of the car a number of times.

Kinda lame but essentially fun to watch I guess, at 500x speed [8D]

The 08 Mustang build is for the up and coming Fast & Furious 4 movie

 

Here are some more pics of the event. It was a pretty awsome deal. The car was stripped and rebuilt including the installation of a Saleen suspension with Watts Link, Saleen 15" brake kit, Saleen Extreme 550hp blower, Saleen S7 carbon fiber seats, Mac Performance exhaust system with shorty headers, h-pipe, side exit exhaust, TruFiber Venom hood, ducktail spoiler, 5 spoke 20" wheels, Glassback, Lambo doors from Vertical Doors, and more! I'll post more pics after I get home, as the "highspeed" wireless at my hotel is less than stellar.[:'(]Enjoy!

And what happened to the Gauge pod laying on the ground before the build, it's not in the car at the end..... ?
