Ok maybe this isn't much of a thread...

But for new year's eve I went to an upscale resturant, for the simple fact that I get a great rent price in an upscale neighborhood,which is pureluck.

Things aren't busy but busy enough that I park at the back of the lot where no one is around.

2 hours later I come out and the lot is still busy, but still empty towards the back, and I see a Saleen S281 S197 versionparked right by me! I had tingles just knowing a supercharger s197 was about 6 ft from me, haven't seen a supercharged s197 in person yet.

I was mildly happy these $60K+ owner didn't think low of my GT and felt the same way about parking next to other S197s.

If it werent for 40 degree arizona weather, I would've left him a note expressing my love like I've sadly done before... Instead I shivered into my car and hoped he/she realized how much I loved him/her.

ps: no I did not put red locktite on his car (had to say it before someone else did)

pss. Im drunk by now. Ive been home for 3 hours by now in fact so Im wasted. Hope all of this makes sense!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

I dunno sometimes I've parked beside in an effort to show off. ;p

Mostly however it was more because I wanted to park beside a cool car almost like a mini car show.

simliar situation happened to me. i was in best buy, and when i left, a saleen pulled up and parked one spot away from me. (i have an 07 v6 with a few show and go mods, & we both parked as far away from the door as possible).

i told him i loved his car, he smiled, and said 'a mustang is a mustang' and he said mine looked great too.

then i asked him if he wanted to trade. needless to say, i dont have a saleen sitting in my garage.
