Shaker system is GARBAGE!!!! First start by getting a new head unit then do your speakers. Once i replaced my head unit I noticed a huge difference in sound.

doc holiday - how did you get 306 rwhp and 322 rwtq from just a CAI, tune, cmdp's and axlebacks?? thats pretty cool
Like this ???

No, really.... I get questioned (and flamed) for it all the time. I guess I got a "lucky" one. Not mentioned in my sig are steeda UDP and RP synthetic (which I do believe reduces drivetrain loss). Igot flamed for postingin the racing forum about how I pulled 1-2 cars on an SRT-8 charger, but I really don't care, so... I just keep driving it... LOL.

The steeda udp are awsome the rpm get up there alot faster and smoother also Royal Purple synthetic does improve drivetrain loss. Doc Holiday has the rite setup and i believe his rwhp and rwtq numbers are 100% correct. These cars run awsome and perform great if you have the rite setup!

I started to ask this same question the other day, but then thought better of it because of all the Shaker haters on here LOL. I have the bass turned all the way up, treble either 0 or +1 or +2. I have it balanced left/right and front/rear, and have it set to "rear seat". I think that's what it's called. It's the setting that has options like "All seats", "driver's seat", and "rear seat".

So, what does everyone else use? I mean, you shaker owners, not you shaker haters.

Actually, I realize that there are much better head units than the shaker, but it's pretty adequate, and the sound's not all that bad. I guess it sounds bad if you're accostomed to a premium unit, though.

Let the flames begin! LOL

Thats the thing.....i have always replaced the stock HU and speakers in cars...the shaker is a good factory system....but it sucks compared to a 150 aftermarket HU and most any speaker that has actual tweeters for the highs.
