driving with stock tires, everytime I go by one of the roadside radar guns that show your speed it's always shown me about 2 mph slower than my speedometer shows. I've heard that is a pretty common thing with the new Mustangs.
Another way for Ford to "improve" its 0-60 times?

And could I use a handheld tuner to adjust the number until I match the radar readings?

You could, but unless you know the precisespeed that the roadside gun was actually calibrated to, you're still no better off.

Might not be just Ford playing games with speed displays - who's to say that the "Your Speed Is xx" sign isn't set a little high just to get people to slow down to a couple of mph below the posted limit?
