Doesn't look bad -- I would have just waited until I got the spoiler I wanted but you like the appearance without it so it works for you. I'm curious as to what spoiler you're looking at getting though?

Why not just buy a used spoilerless trunk lid instead of using half-azzed plugs?
I thought I made it clear in my first post, but I'll re-iterate.
1) My option cost me a total of about $5
2) The spoiler that I want to eventually put on the car utilizes the stock spoiler holes
3) I think that what I have looks better than the stock spoiler

But hey, thanks for stopping by and calling my mod half-azzed!

The plugs look good... better than the stock wing thats for sure. I think the guys who posted before, like myself, were just pointing out the options, not saying you had to do any of them. Just trying to be helpful is all.

I certainly didn't mean anything negative by what I said above. This forum has been an absolutely wonderful resource, and the people here are mostly helpful and mean well. I just wasn't able to find the information I was looking for - so I improvised.

Well maybe he only wants to spend a few dollars instead of a few hundred!
Or maybe he doesn't want to go through the hassle of getting the old lock out of the old trunk and swapping it into the new one!
Or maybe he can't find any to trade!

I didn't see anything half-azzed about the plugs. As long as they're low profile and matching and temporary, I say well done!

Perfect. Now when I get my Shelby wing, I'll know what to do with those front holes. Good job !!

i definitely don't know about those bolts fromthe second post... i think the spoiler looks way better than that. i honestlythink that looks likes*it andreally wonder whyyou would do some crap like that topretty mucha newer car?? i mean if you just can't afford to do itthe right way then don'tdo it. I would probably go by that car and wonder what kind of a butcher would do that to his car.as for the plugs that looks good being thatit's aTEMP thing. i don't mean to come off as an *** but bolts and plugs as a permanent fix is justa crazy fixto me.
