How to use a tuner?
You plug it in to the left of the steering wheel ... under the dash... there is a port there. I don't have the XCal III so I can't tell you how to use it but it should be fairly simple and walk you threw it

OK...
Did you get a CAI and a tuner or just the tuner? Did you order custom tunes from a vender?? Give us some more info about your tuner so we can bette help you.
But...
To use the tuner, plug it into the OBDII port located under the steering wheel around where your left knee would be when sitting in the driver seat.
Once you locate and plug the tuner in, the tuner will guide you through a few steps to load the new tune. It is very easy to follow. If you cant figure that part out god help you.

Probably not the best of tunes but it will be way better then the factory.
Plug that sucker in and select load custom tune and the rest is done for you. it will probably tell you to turn the key on but do not start before the tune loads and to turn it off and unplug the tuner after. Don't worry youll figure it out. I have an xII so I can't be too specific but it must be similar. Why would they make an easy task complicated?
