Default Has anyone lowered with.....???

295/45-18 on the rears? I would like to drop about 1/2" or so on the front and rear and not sure if I'll run into clearance issues or not on the rear. I was thinking about the Roush springs as they don't lower as much as some of the others. Just curious if anyone has done it with my set-up. Thanks!!!!

I really can't imagine any problems with a 1/2" drop...I dropped mine 2" in the rear and 1.7" in the front and still have a plenty of wheel gap that should easily fit your setup...but maybe you are worried about the width...and not so much how tall the tire is...

Thanks. Ya, I'm most concerned with the width as the 295's come out to the fenders.

295/45/18 would be 28.5" diameter. About 1.5" bigger than stock. A 295/40/18 would be 27.3", much closer to stock size. I know it doesn't answer the question, but with the slight drop of the Roush springs, I think you would be fine.

Look at my pics on this thread. https://mustangforums.com/m_4255114/tm.htm
In the pics I had 295/45/18 in rear on 18x10 rims with Roush rear springs.

I have a 1.5" drop with those tires and have never rubbed. I will be going to a slightly shorter tire in the spring though. The 295/45/18 looks great, but is completely unnecessary unless you are putting some monster power to the ground.

I have no problems with mine and I'm lowered with Eibachs (~1.5")
