The X and H refers to the shape of the midpipe (connecting the headers to the catback exhaust). The mufflers are located right after the axles on our cars. You should get new mufflers and a new midpipe to have the best sound. The best exhaust on the GT's in my opinion is the off-road (no cats) H-pipe as the midpipe with the Borla stingers (axle-back mufflers). Again, this is all preference. Let me know if you have any other questions.

What is the sound difference between H and X? Is on more raspy/deeper than the other?

The O/R H is deeper then X giving you a throaty sound -- the O/R X is slightly raspy, louder, and typically you'll gain 3RWHP. I run the O/R X

X is more raspy than H, with H having a deeper rumble to it

X is louder and raspier. The H is more deep with a muscle car sound

Ok I read a thread here about pipes and i was a little confusing.

Lets say i will order it from Brenspeed, what would you recommend from there, it has an option for Mufflers and Pipes.

From what i read i think the best choice will be H pipe, but i still dont get what you men with O/R.

Thanks

O/R stands for Off-Road, meaning off-road only because that setup removes the factory catalytic converters...
