RE: Back window louvers
I have thought about getting back louvers but have not done so yet. This is the best price for the aluminum louvers that I could find. Made by astra hammond. If you search on the forum you will find people that have bought these.

Sig..
Roush Louvers.
Paid $320 painted and shipped with all hardware from Premier Paint and Body on Ebay..
Some people don't like that vendor, I don't have a problem with them.
Good luck.

^ I believe theOP meant rear window louvers, not quarter side window louvers.
I'm planning on rear window louvers also but have not decided on aluminum or ABS. Since I have ABS quarter side window louvers painted to match, I'm considering having the rear window louver painted to match also in lieu of leaving it black.

Thats why I'm going with the aluminum ones, I'm not a fan of the 3 section look and I feel as though each blade it too thick. It all comes down to personal opinion though.

RE: Back window louvers
here's a couple pics of my rear louvers - they're the astra hammonds. they were $300 and change if i remember correctly, but definitely worth every penny imo. they're one of my favorite exterior mods that i've done so far.and i would say thataluminum is the only way to go; i thinkthe plastic looks kinda cheap and is of a lower quality. also, they actually have some functionality as well: they definitely help to keep the car cooler in summer, they block the view into the car rather well, and they keep the rear windows from icing up or getting snow on them. the only downside is that they're a pita to remove on a regular basis cuz they're bolted down; some folks don't like that aspect of the aluminum louvers cuz it makes it hard to clean under them. for the record, although my rear window isn't squeaky clean, i'm pretty **** about thatkind of stuff and it's never bothered me once
