new user and looking
hey wsup, for starters i would just like to say hi and love the site. i haven't been a user for very long but i have been a car fan my whole life particularly fords. as i grew up i always wanted a mustang but when the time came to get me a car i got my mom's handed down infiniti i30t
<this is it
don't get me wrong the infiniti has been the greatest car to me. its saved my butt in so many cases its not even funny. but now im finally able to get my self to get myself my very own mustang. so if you guys and gals know of anybody selling a 2005 to now mustang "GT" (can't emphasize that enough) then shoot me a message telling me where and for how much. condition is of no importance because i actually plan to get one that is in pretty bad shape as it is (budget for less than $10,000) so like i said if you hear anything let me know i am willing to travel to check it out/ purchase it

Well, good luck, but unless the car is wrecked, you won't touch a 2005 GT for $10,000. Probably not even $15,000. You could get a sixer in that range, then, over time, add F/I to it to make it fast. Other than that, take your money, invest it, save more, and get a GT in a couple more years. Then you might get one for your budget.

Bluebooking a 2005 GT with no options, 100k miles, and fair condition is still 12500[&:]

well can't blame me for trying plus the trade in for my current car is less than 5 grand (dam close to 100,000 milesas it is) but im not actually looking for one that is in great shape at all or one that runs cuz id fix it up myself. Should i try to look in junk yards for ones that are about to be smashed?

Not worth it to do a V8 conversion. Honestly though, if you get a blower or X-Charger on the V6, then you'll floor any stock or near stock GTs out there. Ultimate sleeper, as it were. Also note that it's good to get base (with the exception of possibly leather/heated seats/TSC/interior upgrade kit) as you can get almost EVERYTHING ELSE aftermarket for half the cost and 2x better the quality.
