the slp's sound nothing like the boom tubes and i was torn between the two until i heard them both first hand, boom tubes have a lower tuned sound then the slp's but are about equal in loudness i would say from hearing them both, but the slp's are higher pitched adn raspier, but it all depends what u like.

Yes but slp's have no good sound at all to them. You might as well just cut off ur mufflers and weld on some chrome tips it will be much cheaper then slp loudmouths!

Congrats, I installed mine the other day too and am very satisfied. The deepness is nothing short of erotic.

 

alot of ppl assume they sound crappy cuz of youtube vids. youtube vids make em seem sooooooo bad. IRL i dont they are bad AT ALL.

 

You can say that again, when I completed the install I fired it up and it was nothing short of beautiful music.
