1. Did that. 2 grand v about $75. (seriously! but see #3)
2. Yup, except I don't EVER go to Walmart. (not that I hate Wallyworld, I just hate crowded stores and checkout lines.)
3. I don't detail it,SHE does. It is HER car.
Short version; It was time to replace her SVTFocus, 120k miles and it was getting the rattles... She was looking at (gulp) Suzukis! Although the SX4Crossover is a neat little car, especially for the money.The other serious contenderwas the Cobalt or G5. But I'd had V6 Mustangs for rental cars and really enjoyed them so I suggested she drop in at the local Ford dealer and drive one. Done, we started shopping for a Mustang. Found this niceScreaming Yellow Pony withsome nice options and 9k miles on it, paid less than the price of an SX4 or Cobalt.
The only regret I have is Irarely get todrive it myself...

Too funny. I find myself looking back at my stang AT LEAST 4 times while I'm walking away from it. 
As for the other ones, well I haven't spent $ on any mods for it yet seeing as though I just bought it for myself as a Christmas gift. 
but I got some future mods on the back burner.
Oh and I don't have a wife...
As for everyone's wives hating that you put more money into the car than her... what's the big deal? stupid wives. LOL they just don't understand I guess.
Ifmy bf had a mustang and he spent time fixing it up and putting mods on it he wouldn't here a peep out of me. [8D]I'd say go 'head, let me know when you're done so we can take it for a spin. My bf gets all jealous when I spend too much time with my stang, he said "why don't you just sleep with it?"
