I've been mulling around a bunch of ideas, saying "oh I'm going to buy this", only to change my mind the next day. But I finally pulled the trigger tonight on some new stuff for Delilah (My Car). Here are the late xmas gifts I bought for her: CDC Hood Struts, Hurst Shifter, SLP Loudmouths (sorry boomtube crew), JLT intake/SCT Xcal 2 tuner (brenspeed), Steeda Underdrive Pulleys, Shelby Hood Pins, Pioneer AVIC-D3 Head Unit, Smoked Tails, CDC Ducktail spoiler, and a valentine 1 radar. And I'm calling my local tint shop tomorrow to see if they are open and then that will be all until next xmas!!! Cause I'm F'n Broke!!! Oh and I bought Samson (my explorer) an alarm because some punks decided they were gonna shatter the back window to try and steal my stuff (bastards). The Carnage -

Will do. I forgot one important part to the break in story....The Ford dealership where I had to pick up the replacement glass had a ton of Saleens and Shelbys. After I got my part I parked my car and proceeded to drool all over one of the new Shelbys. Salesman comes out and says "you wanna take it for a spin?" I just gave him one of those yeah right looks and he tossed me the keys. Didnt ask to see my license or insurance or even my name. Just gave me the keys to an80k car and said be gentle. So I got to drive a brand spankin new Shelby (without a salesman!!!). So I guess waking up to a shattered back window could have been worse. But I gotta know, has anyone ever had that happen to them? It just seems a little odd for him to give me those keys without knowing who I was. Its not like it was a taurus....It's a friggen Shelby!!!

No. I knew I am no where near Shelby caliber (financially). And I knew I was driving a car that someone was going to be very proud of. I just didn't have the heart to really get on someone elses car.

 

The mod's are great do it now so you enjoy them all summer long sorry to hearabout your explorer but after driveing the shelby at least it made a bad daya lotbetter

 

Congrats on getting all that stuff for your car, you will enjoy it. +1 on not beating on the Shelby.
