Default Billet grill maintenance

Those of you with polished aluminum grills; do they look better if they're cleaned with a chrome cleaner or car polish? Ijust got mine and I don't want to damage it by taking off any coatings that may have been applied. Advise?

I assume that it`s clear coated so you need to use wax.
If it`s naked polished aluminum I`d steer away from chrome cleaner as most are more abrasive than you need for maintenance. For a surface that`s not been neglected try
Simichrome or Mothers or Neverdull etc etc

hey, thanks for the help. I was getting ready to use siver polish, but that would definitely take the clearcoat off. I'll use the polish I use on the rest of the car.
