ARM REST REMOVAL?!
This is my first offical post. I have been using this website for awhile as it has endless information available. I know some people getupset when someone asks a question that can be answered by searching the website but, I could not find anything there. So here goes....I brought my 07 GT/CS to the dealership because the e-brake was making noise. when i got the car back, e-brake fixed but they did not rehook back up my aux jack and cig. lighter in my arm rest. i know the thing is one piece but i am not sure what i am looking for to remove the whole thing. any help would be great. thanks guys!

Pull the ebrake up. Remove your shifter bezel (and the **** if you have a stick). Open the center console. There are two philips-head screws in the back corner of it. Take them out. Starting at the rear bottom corners, PULL. The whole thing is just snapped on, and will all pop off. You need you yank on it with a little bit of force, don't worry, it'll come out. I've had mine out like 8 times already and I only bought the car last March..

I'm a big fan of letting the service dept. boys fix an issue if they only half assed it in the first place no matter how simple the fix. Take it back.

I took mine in and they had to replace the stereo, next time i removed my center console, they apparently lost the two screws from the center console (the ones under the arm rest part) so they used one of the bolts of the six that hold the center dash panel part! i was shocked because this is my first new car, they couldnt get the two screws they misplaced from teh parts department? lol

I wouldn't say all or even most. I have had them leave the dip stick laying up on the radiator before after a free oil change. I alway feel the need to double check their work. I have a goodCRD tech that works on my Jeep and I take him KFC everytime I take it in.
