I ordered mine at the very end of december.. They knew of the issue for a while.. I want the IUP... but at 1K? I think somethign there stinks

 

Actually it isn't quite that much. I actually prefer it this way because I prefer the rest of the dash as it is without the silver stuff all over it. This way I only get the upgraded cluster.

The pricing is as follows:

Cluster: 250
Switch: 50
Labor: 145
Total: 445

So just this one upgrade is about the same as the IUP, but I did get my car faster and I am willing to pay the extra to get just the parts I want and not the whole IUP.

 

cluster? alone? silver parts? sheet.. I'm lost? I need pics.. hahaha.. Is the cluster where all the info is shown? gas and digets? I dont want the silver pannels either.. I didnt want them..

 

yes the cluster is just the tach,speedo,alt,oil,fuel, temp and message center. i also dont like the silver dash so this is the way i want it

 

i just orderd mine ill let you guys know how it goes. i also had my friend turn on the global window feature. i can raise or lower my windows with the key and lower the windows with the remote. pretty cool

 

sweet.. please take pics.. so I will know what the hell it looks like .. haha.. whats this global window feature? do you need to have the upgraded alarm for it?

 

its very cool if you hold down the unlock button on your remote after three seconds the windows go down and if you push the botton again they will stop. they only go down not up but you can put your key in the door turn right and hold for down turn left and hold for up. it is a feature that they have to hook up the computer and enable it

 

Is it true you can only get that feature activated if you have the active alarm?

 

OK. Went in to the dealership with my new instrument cluster and switch assembly. About 45 minutes later they came back out, handed me my keys and said "Enjoy". Cost me all of 115 to have it installed and less than 300 in parts. Everything works as it should and zero issues. Anyone interested in doing this should go ahead and do it. I'm very happy with the end result!

 

very cool rallsolo. i just taked to ed and he said you were happy i should have mine in by friday. did you get you window feature enabled?
