Default Lug Pattern

I'd like to buy some rims but they have a 4.75" 5 lug pattern, our stockers are 4.50" - Am I doomed or is there an inexpensive fix?

If you have a 4.75 it won't fit. You'll be just a tad too big.

114.3 =/= 120.0

You can buy conversion plates which are essentially spacers which bolt onto your hub and which offer the alternate stud pattern to the wheel. Problem with them is that you have the width of the adaptor to soak up.

So basically, the answer is No, there isn't a cheap fix.

Manta,

Thanks a lot!

And good news, Cragar makes these wheels in 4.50 also.

I'm going with the old fashioned composite chrome Cragars in 17x8" w/ 4.5" backspacing. It'll definetly be a retro look, but I think it will pull together quite nicely. This photochopped picture also contains a sketch of the new sidestripes I'd like to get, as well as rear louvers... Both pretty pricey, the rims are too, so it'll be a little while.

And a better shot of the rims themself

I can tell right now that 95% of the people on here are thinking my choice of rims is questionable right now. [8D]

Well, it is SUPER old school, but I'm confident it will come together great. Haha.

What? Questionable? Dude, go with them...I know they will look great. Can't beleive folks are losing faith in chrome Cragars...
