Well my search of the internet turned up nothing as far as pics of the steeda ultralight wheels on an 05 up. I know they started making them with the correct off set a while ago so someone must have them.

I am currently in a toss up between these, Pentars, CTR's and 18" DD.

I also welcome any opinions on which wheel to go with for a satin silver stang.

Appearance mods are going to be basic, C pillar scoops, CDC blackout panel, GT-500 chin spoiler, and GT-500 rear spoiler.

I really like the Pentars myself and came damn near close to buying them.

 

I like them too but the wife hates black wheels and I cant decide if they will look good with silver or not.

And I know who cares what the wife thinks but I dont need to hear crap for the next 10 years about how she hates the wheels.

The only problem with the ultralights or silver pentars is I dont know if there is enough contrast or not.

Here is a pic of a members car with the silver pentars (hope he doesnt mind), to me it is too subtle.

 

I'd go with 18" black 5-spoke saleen wheels, made for the previous model stang. They look great on our cars...especially a silver or gray one.

BUT....as for your choices, I like the pentars the best.

 

i'd rank them in order: 1, 2, 3

the CT-R's are what i really wanted but i couldnt find them for cheap so i got the GT4 wheels at american muscle

 

I like the CTR's but wish they didnt have a machined lip. Well I promised the wife no mods for a year after the supercharger but this is my last big dilema.

What about the Chrome Ultralights?

 

Thought about it but I am not a big fan of chrome. If they made them in Anthracite it would be no question. I have thought about getting them powder coated but I will be on a budget. I might have to see what it would run me these days for 4 wheels.

My only other thought is to keep the stockers and have weldcraft widen my rears to 17x9.5 or 17x10's. Then I would have a really good sleeper look.

Wheels are so hard to choose. At the moment I guess I am leaning toward the 18" bullets.


If I could get a pic of the ultralights and really loved them I might save up some extra cash for the powdercoating. At least I would be the only one with that set up.

 

It's probably hard to find pictures because they were on back order for over 6 months. I just got mine in I'll post some pics when I get them put on.
