Default Engine Bay

I was wondering if anyone has had any paint problems as far aslike fading or dulling in the engine bay. And would it be to over the top if one were to wax certain areas of the engine bay? If not, what would be the best type of wax. *Thanks*

Had a chance this past summer to see a 100 or so s197's at a car show and a large muber of them had incomplete paint coverage, from the factory,in the engine bay. It didn't look so hot. Thankfully mine looks as good as the body and I keep it looking that way. After the intitial powerwash when I bought it I just use some detail spray to keep her looking good.

Ours is only 9 months old, but every week when I wash the car, I towel off the EB just to keep it clean. Looks like new.

I do the same thing too after I wash it but do you think it would be too much to wax from time to time? I mean I know its just a car in the end but dam do I love it. It'slooks and feels goodwhen its clean.

It wouldn't hurt anything. I'd use some sort of spray on-wipe off like ICE.
