Ha! I'm a Baton Rouge, LA native. Lived in the New Orleans area for 7 years (from 24 to 31 years old). I really miss that place and hear that it's very different now from old friends. I love Austin, TX but sure do miss nawlins'!

I can see the dock now that you're picking the car up from. Waterfront NO side or Algiers. Or maybe Irish Channel area in NO east? Boy I do miss NO for sure...

Pensacola is my oldhome town, you should like it there. There are lots of Stangs in that area, and lots of automotive type activities, including a good sized Stang show. great beaches too. Have fun, and be safe.

Great to hear from ya and to be honest with all that HP you wont get the full potential out of it unless you do the suspension mods after the S/C and the trans and driveline will need to handle the HP as well so if you cant get all at once just dont beat on her after the motor and S/C are done. That should buy you some time... JMO and Welcome home! J

In the past few years I have been religated to only visits with my family there in P Cola so I am not up to date on what shops to recommend. There is a mustang shop there that specializes in vorteck superchargers. They are located somewhere on west navy blvd. I'm sure though that you will find many places that will be good for the work you want. My late father was very muchinto the performance circles there, I only wish that I could still ask him for some recomendations to give you.
