RE: new fenders -- Pictures
Are the people that are talking about dirt absolutely clueless? Sorry to be so rude, but we do have a wheel well liner... Please go take a look at your car and tell me how in the world dirt is going to fly through the liner which is SOLID and then through the fender then on the paint?

ORIGINAL: fairlane292 ORIGINAL: exx1976 Is it just me, or does it look like someone just took aDAto the fender, made three cuts (two horizontal, one along the fender lip), pushed the metal in, and then fabbed in a screen? I mean, don't get me wrong, it looks like a good job, but I don't think that's a whole aftermarket replacement fender, is it? I mean, in the top pic it looks like the front half of the fender is still gloss black.. ??? |

i like them, i also inquired on the cost. they are expensive

RE: new fenders -- Pictures
I have gotten quite a few PM's about this so this is why I'm posting and by no means do I intend to be rude in anyway. The fenders in this thread are not like mine nor were they manufactured by us here at Automotive Dezignz. Our fenders are currently pending patent. Here are a few things about my fenders ...
1 -- The fenders are cut at the body line to flow with the the vehicles natural contour 2 -- The whole fender is 1 piece steel functional (no grill inserted) 3 -- The vent opening from the edge to the functional vent follows the radius of curvature of the body (it's not flat and just bent in). 4 -- The vent opening is symmetrical (same size from top to bottom) http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r...n/Caution3.jpg |
RE: new fenders -- Pictures
Ya Caution, yours are great. Would loved to have gotten them but this saved me about $650. Little bit of a different feel but hey, if the customer is happy thats all that matters. Fender is a fender.... we own mustangs.... thats badass enough so who cares :D;)
