HID Question

I just bought a set of 8000k HID's, are they just plug and play? any type of relay that is needed to be used?? Becuase i rememeber when i had hids on my Trailblazer SS when you would unlock the truck the Hids would go on and flash becuase not all the power was being sent to them, which caused the bulb and ballest to burn out, Will this be a problem with the stang?

P.S i have a 07 mustang Gt

Depends which kit you bought. I got the Retro-Solutions.com kit and it was truly plug & play. It had a relay included in the kit. No problems at all.

Ill have to email them about a relay, i think one is included. What happens if their is no relay??

That's strange. The Ford kit only draws 35 watts on dim and 60 on high compred to the stock halogen's 55 watt.

You are going to have problems with glare on the 07 mustang as there is no glare shield in front of the bulbs. I only used mine for one night because I was blinding so many people. Focal points were adjusted correctly, its just so much undirected light (not reflected off the housing) gets thrown out that the glare is insane.

Thanks for all the answers.

Actully, I sent the HIDS back from xenon eyes, since their customer service was horrible, and sending me the temp for the bulbs.

So i jsut placed an order with stangmods.com
