Default High flow cats Vs. Stock Cats

Hey all....going to be purchasing Bassani Xpipe here shortly, but I was wondering, would it be in my best interest to spend a little more and buy the high flow cats w/the xpipe, or by an xpipe that uses the stock cats? How much of a difference do you think there is?Thanks!

I read on here a few times that the stock Cats flow quite well so unless you're looking for every last singleHPI wouldn't bother.

Hes right. Gains are minimal. I went with an off road H pipe for the sound.

If you're in a state that has strict Emissions laws, go with hi-flo cats (except cali unless the cats have a CARB#) otherwise go O/R

Well it depends on what you really want out of your exhaust system. If you want sound and really high flow (atleast with cats) and maxium horespower then yea go for the high flows. If you just want a more mellow sound and a little more restriction then you will be fine sticking with factory cats

the good thing with the Bassani X-Pipe is that it comes with straight pipe or the cats. so it can be an off-road pipe if you want it to be.

paired with straight-thru mufflers, the sound is gorgeous with the high-flow cats on though. much louder than the stock cats but not as raw and terrible sounding like catless.

But still! even if you're in a State that doesnt check emissions from the exhaust, how do you get by with the Inspection when all they have to do is look and see that you dont have any cats?
