Default Valet Setting on Excaliber II Flash - Anyone Ever use this feature?

Has anyone used the valet setting on the Excaliber II flash? I am bringing in my car for warranty service and obviously do not want those kids tearing up my ride. It supposidly will not let it get over 3800 RPM. How well does this work? Being a newb, I obviously do not want to do anything that may harm my baby,

Thanks in advance..

you do realize if you flash your ECU, dealership takes it in and realizes that you flashed it, your warranty is gone?

but then again, this may not be the dealership so it may not even matter

if you revert back to stock settings you can just say the batt. died. That triggers a "relash" alert to come up also

I use a Valet tune all the time.I made up a notice which I leave in the vehicle for when it's at the Ford dealership basically stating that the Valet mode is enabled and NOT to investigate any abnormal Motor behaviour.

3800rpm is still enough to get into a lot of trouble with. Mine is 3000rpm and 40mph

When I took the '05 to get the body kit installed, I came back a few days later and the idiots actually asked why the car was stopping at 3k. I can't believe they told on themselves. I said to keep them from playing with it so they get the work done instead.
