If you got the "Hurst Equipped" emblem, go for the back right... I know the classic cars used to have the same emblems but put them on the side. The back is where I'd put mine--once I finally install my Hurst LOL (yep it has finally moved from the living room to the garage but not into the Mustang yet)

If you got just the sticker that came in the box w/ the shifter then slap that on your tool box.

 

I put my Hurst Equipped emblem on the dash on the right side near the airbag engraving. No pics right now, but I really like it. If it wasn't there, I'd put it on the trunk on the right side.

Well, some of us weren't blessed with the GT emblems [8D], so I put mine on the side...
