Default HELP WITH WHEELS

Hopefully there's some wheel gurus out there that can help me. I'm looking at buying the gr500 wheels - 18"x9.5 (shelby gt500 setup). I want tires, front 255s and rear 285s(also shelby setup). The offset on the wheels is advertised as 50mm. Here's my question: will that offset work for both front and rear, or is there a different offset that has to be used for the front? Also, I assume the 285s will go on these 9.5 inch wheels???

Those wheels will fit fine on all four. 285s can go on a 9.5" wide. 255s might be a touch small for a 9.5 though? If you want the same setup you could go with the same tire package as on the gt500. Are you sure you want to go with a staggered fitment on the tires? Tires will last longer going witht he same and just rotating. I see you already have a little suspension work.

thanks Brad; I miss-typed on the wheels. I'm looking at the same setup as shelbys gt500 (the gt500 wheels). Just not sure if those wheels are all four the same offset. Yeah, I know I'll lose tire time with the staggered tires, but I want the "look".

7.125" backspacing. All the wheels I seen on ebay for the gt500 style were all the same. So the offset wouldn't be an issue. The rears should appear wider due to the wider tires. What aspect ratio do you plan on going with?

Does anyone know of a on-line dealer that sells the GT500 wheels other than American Muscle?

What is aspect ratio?
Aspect ratio is the sidewall. It is the amount of rubber between the pavement and the rim, or what you would see if you looked at your car from a direct sideview. The more aspect ratio you have the beefier your tires will look.
