ever since i went to an o/r exhaust i havent been able to get the polished look back on the inside of my tips. i tried soap and water which did nothing. are they burnt? will degreaser work? anything?

Try NEVR-DULL, always works for me and gets really good results.

Mine are bad also. I try to keep up on them and polish very often. But they still get worse little by little.

SOS pad, then 2000 grit sandpaper, and then polish

sos pad is like a brillo pad or scouring pad w/ soap inside. but if you use the never dull, it should come off w/ just a rag or towel.

The armor all wheel cleaner does a great job too--the soot just rinses off.

Many grocery stores carry nevr-dull. I first learned about it in the Navy...great stuff! It is AWESOME for polishing just about any kind of metal. For those that don't know, it's basically cotton waddingimpregnated with metal polish and comes in a can that looks like...
