Default Vortec vs. Procharger

Ok I am ordering one or the other just cant decide... whats the difference between liquid and air-to-air intercooling? I heard good things about both but dont know the pluses and minuses about either so give me some input.

Also Paxton makes a air-to-air intercooler but I havnet heard good things about Paxton so give any imput you got on them too

thanks everyone,
James

the shop I am going to does centri work mainly for one, secondly the TS will be a better street racer but I am going for a heavy drag aplication so the centri is going to be best without going with a turbo settup i belive

on centri's, i would go w/ procharger, but i still say the whipple is the way to go, it can hold a lot of boost too.

Are you looking ata P1sc? I would not rate that higher than a twin-screw for track use.
You said it will be a race application then you should have the big D1sc if you want a ProCharger

Vortech. Safer, and you get more bang for you buck if you ask me.

The F1 (or 'leaf blower' as we call it...) is the way to go for track use. The P1 will no way beat a good TS set-up. The downside is the air to air cooling of the Procharger will be a driveability factor with big boost especially in warmer climates and heavy street driving. Are you doing a motor build? What kind? If you are staying on your motor and doing lot's of DD, then the Vortech hands down IMO.
