Spring Performance Plan

Spring Performance Plan
Here's my performance plan foran '06 GT Auto...goal is to have this all done by spring. My preference would be to wait and do 1 tune after everything is installed, so it can account for the new gears/exhaust and TC as well. Are there any issues if I wait? Also, should I tune at 87 octane still, or would I be better off going to 89 or 91?
1 -- Corsa Exhaust
2 -- 3.73 Gears
3 -- Torque Converter
4 -- CAI
5 -- Brenspeed Tune
Anything else I'm missing? I don't want a supercharger, but if there's something else fairly cheap that'll be noticeable, I'd be open for suggestions.
The sweet thing is that I feel like my GT has got some serious nuts already as stock....I can't wait to get these bad boys on too.

RE: Spring Performance Plan
I have an '05 Auto.
Let me tell you that the CAI/tune, will make it a complete different car! Go with the 93 Race tune from Bamachips.
Doug will update your tune for free whenever you get new mods.
Then you should go with Exhaust, 3:73s, TC, Spydershaft, UDPs, CMDPs, etc... The list is endless. But you should start with a CAI/tune. I recommend Bamachips, because it's been said that Doug makes the best tunes for Auto's.

RE: Spring Performance Plan
Driveshaft = 1 piece driveshaft to replace the factory two-piece unit. They weigh less, thereby freeing up HP that you already have. Some have claimed gains of up to 5-10 RWHP, but again, this isn't NEW power, it's simply power you already have that is being tranmitted to the pavement in a more efficient manner. No tune required, but there is suspension work required of you are lowered to correct the pinion angle.
UDP = underdrive pulleys. Same thing. free up HP you already have byturning your belt-driven accessories slower. No tune required.
CMDP's (Charge Motion Control Valve Delete Plates) - they have been debated all over the place. Some claim they only provide power in higher RPMs, some claim they actually cause less power in lower RPM range.. I don't know. Don't really have an opinion on them. However, regardless, they do require a tune.
HTH.
