Default Bullitt

So I'm sure alot of posts have been made about this, but I am going to post this anyways. I looked at a new Bullitt today. It was disapointing IMO. they wanted $38,000 and I don't think it was anything special at all. IMO....the grill sucks (should have used black billett set over the fogs like the GAS Boss 302), the wheels are boing as hell, The dash is guady/ugly, The shifter feelsstrokes feel very very long and mushy(after using the Hurst)and the exhaust is not much better then stock. IMO you would only buy that car as an investment tool. I would much rather buy a base GT & mod it the way I would want to.

I think all the special editions are a waste of money.

i test drove one and was gonna trade in my 07. but i was gonna get it for 29k because of xplan. everyone that got one that i know hasnt paid the asking price. they are just hoping some dumb person thinks so highly of it that they will pay that. Normal price is around MSRP or 1-2%below. You have to understand that you are paying for a NAME also not just parts. Something that you can not get with a standard GT. The same way they charge 35k for the ShelbyGT and there is not that big of a difference than my 24k GT premium.

Doesn't the Bullitt have the FRPP/Hurst short shifter stock?

It is not a short shift but it is modified for the bullitt, not a stock gt shifter.

there are a several spread out at dealers by me. they all wanted MSRP which was around $32-34,000 depending on the options. no markup, i could of had one for x-plan. i went with a white GT/CS for under xplan. the bullitts are nice, but too plain.

oh well the one i test drove felt like a stock one. it sucked. but i guess everything will suck after driving a hurst for about 2 months now.

but yeah it was too plain look like a v6, and over priced for something thats not gonna hold its valueas aDD unlike a shebly500. i paid 24k for my gtpremium andthey wanted 29k.i just didntsee a 5k difference in the too cars.
