Default N20 questions

I know its kind of a punk move (linking to my other thread) but I'm looking to buy a kit as soon as possible, but I'd like to get some questions answered before I do. I posted them in the pipes, boost, juice forum but still haven't had any replies. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also do I need to buy a fuel pressure safety switch with the zex kit? I plan on running a 125 shot. If so could someone shoot me a link on where I can find one?

Oh when I said punk move, I was talking about making a thread about my other thread, not setting up nitrous.

You are going to be at the edge for upgrading your fuel pump with a 125 shot. Different people have different opinions but I upgraded mine when I was using a 125 shot just to be safe.

You can use a N2O tune on a daily driver and it wont hurt anything. You may loose a few ponies due to the timing but shouldn't be a big deal. Ran my N2O tune all the time when I was spraying my 3V.

Your setup sounds pretty good the window switch is a big plus. You may also consider a gauge pod with a few essentials like and AF gauge, N2O pressure gauge, and a fuel pressure gauge.

Then you may want to look into suspension!

Thanks!!

You'll love the nitrous! You may want to start with a 75 shot and work up. It will come on pretty noticeably. Wouldn't hurt to start with a smaller shot and get used to it and how your suspension is going to react to it. You may find that 125 is too much for the tires and suspension you have at the present.

Just a thought! I started with a 75 shot and worked up built the car around that and then went SC.

With a 125, you'll need tuning and HT0 plugs minimal. I would suggest getting a bottle heater and pressure guage too.

If you are upgrading your fuel system and adding 125 shot of nitrous. Seriously ^^ yes one step colder on the plugs and 5-6* degrees retarded. Also you will need more amperage out of your coil. So you might end up upgrading ignition too.
