Sometimes going WOT I get a puff of black smoke out the exhaust. What could this be attributed to?

 

Running rich, bad timing, bad a/f...plenty of causes.

I've run several datalogsno one seems to be able to see anything wrong in them. I had wideband on the dyno many times and it's always been around 12.1 - 11.1. So from all the datalogs and dyno's no one is able to really tell me what it is. So my question is where do I start to fix the problem. No cats here is a list of mods. I'm running the brenspeed stage 3 tune.

Pull the plugs

 

I've pulled the plugs several times... are you saying swap them or look at them. They all have a light coat of black soot that can be wipped off, the tips don't lookbad.

 

I meant look at them.

Mabey replace your wires. How many miles do you have on them? Are they stock wires?

 

by wires do you mean Coil on plugs? .........?
