Default bad tints?

what can go wrong when installing window tints?? There's a place that wants to charge me about $230 for my windows to be tinted but i checked out another place today and they said about $160-$180, thefirst place has a nicer garage and all they do is tint, and the cheaper place has a bigger garage but it's a little messy, but not horrible and they do all kinds of work but have one guy for tinting. so what i'm wondering is what can go wrong while tinting windows that wouldnt be an easy fix?? thks

Just as fun as driving around at night with no tint.

I paid less than $150, so the second quote you got seems more reasonable. If they don't offer you a life time guarantee, then go else where. You must get moleskin strips, or your tint will begin to scratch.

I paid $150 and had another quote for $175. The first place is a little high but if you feel more comfy there, do it.

The only thing about a messy garage is if it is dusty, you can get dust behind the tint but that doesn't happen too much.

nah, it looked alright, not too dusty, the only dusty area was on an old car, couldnt really tell what it was couldnt get a good view of it.

Had the moleskin for like 4 months, figured i'd install it right before igot my tints done, just waiting for it to warm up now so i wont freeze when i do the install

yeah...I paid 210$ at the best guy around, it was done right, he knows to use stainless steel blades instead of the regular blades, that way the blade is softer than the window, so he doesn't cut into the glass....stuff like that. The price difference really isn't that much, what's 50$ for peace of mind?
