I doubt it's been done, but has anyone seen the GT logos in all black? The ones I have right now (the stock ones) are starting to peel away and I have new ones to replace them with. I was contemplating having them painted an all glossy black to match my stripes. But I'm thinking that might look cheesy. Any thoughts?

 

I pulled mine off & painted the satin black, used new 3M tape & re-applied.

I ordered another set of GT emblems off of ebay to experiment with. I was planing on painting them gloss black (car is black) I think it'll look good. Ill post pics when its done. I think the black emblems would go nice in the black stripe. Someone else on here has satin black emblems, i think on a silver GT.
i think the black on black would make for an Impala SS kinda look.

Aircare84 - that looks awesome!!! I have the same stripe on Tungsten and think the black GT emblems would look good. How did you get them off and what paint did you use? Might be a pretty good thing to do this winter while it's stored. Thanks!

 

remove with fishing line and blow dryer, then spray paintthen put back on..

I dig it! Maybe I'll get these painted and applied. Worst case scenario, I just dont like it and I peel them back off and put the stock looking ones back on. Of course, I'm also thinking of having my stripes removed and painted instead....so many mods, so little money...
