Default opinions please

hey guys much needed help.i need some help on exhaust sound i want loud but not raspy and i like the mac axel back and the boom tubes but how does the boom tubes sound compared to slp because they are the same design and i think the slp is a little raspy so i dont want to get the boom tubes if there raspy thanks guys

well to start you have to think long term, most people who get the SLP's swap them out when they get O/R mid pipes and or L/T's due to the drone and noise level inside the car. If you want a deep sound go with any H pipe as for X pipe just get them catted and they wont be as bad. L/T's will change the tone a tad. I have mac L/T's with the O/R prochamber and im happy, i swaped the prochamber in for the max X pipe i was not happy at all with that combo.

The Boom tubes have a louvered core and which make them sound more refined. This also helps to keep drone down compared SLP's and yes they are loud but clean. I have an x-pipe and I hate it, sounds raspy.
